Master Cosmetologist and Makeup Artist Ethan Lowe is a graduate of South Eastern Beauty Academy. Ethan specializes in hand tied extensions, and was the first person to bring this service to Eastern Kentucky. Ethan has been committed to his passion and clients for the last 8 years. He is a certified Matrix color artist. Ethan is passionate about providing the best experience to his extensive clientele. For this reason, he is currently not accepting new clients. Color Services

Prices reflected are starting prices and may increase based on product and process used, length of hair, and corrective treatments. Each cosmetologist at PurLux is independent and create their own services and pricing. While we provide this guideline for you to have a general idea of pricing, all guests are encouraged to discuss pricing with the service provider prior to receiving the service to obtain an accurate quote based upon your desired result and unique circumstance. Pricing includes haircut if desired.

  • All Over Color

    $75+
    (1) color applied directly to hair without the use of foils. Price will increase based on product used, toner, and additional options such as olaplex treatments, multiple colors etc.

  • Balayage

    $95+
    Balayage is a technique where hair color is painted onto the hair to create a graduated, more natural-looking highlight effect. Price will increase based on product used, toner, and additional options such as olaplex treatments, multiple colors etc. Partial balayage starting at $95, full balayage starting at $150.

  • Partial Highlight

    $95+
    Top portion of head or minimal foiling. Price will increase based on product used, toner, and additional options such as olaplex treatments, multiple colors etc.

  • Full Highlight

    $130+
    Full head is highlighted. Price will increase based on product used, toner, and additional options such as olaplex treatments, multiple colors etc.

  • Full Bleach

    $95+

Cuts & Style

  • Shampoo & Style

    $35+
    Hair is washed, dried, and styled to your desired look (typically straightened or curled). Price may increase for elaborate styles or special products used (deep conditioning treatments).

  • Women's Cut

    $35+

  • Women's Dry Cut

    $20+
    Does not include shampoo and style.

Extensions & Hair Treatments

Ethan specializes in hand-tied extensions. All extensions require consultation prior to the appointment so that your hair may be ordered. Pricing does not include the purchase of extensions, hair must be paid for prior to ordering.
